Sometimes we genuinely realise what someone means to us after they have passed away. At a funeral or memorial service, a part of the grieving process is remembering the stories of loved ones. During the eulogy, when friends and family share their fondest memories, not everyone can be present, especially now when participants number are very limited due to the virus. Therefore live streaming is a way to share the funeral service with friends and family who live across the globe and are not able to attend due to current restriction.
How Does the Funeral Live Streaming Work?
Firstly, we would have a conversation with you to find out how we might be able to help you with the streaming, what your expectations are and what is your primary reason for live streaming the funeral. According to our talk, we will prepare a quote that meets your budget and expectations. 50% deposit will be required to book the service and date. The reaming is due on the filming day. Once we have agreed on all the details, you will receive a link of the live stream video that you can share with friends and family before the event. Using this link, they will be able to watch the service as it happens. We would need to arrive at least two hours earlier to set up the cameras, microphones and do tests to make sure that everything is working according to the plan.

The Cost of Live Streaming Funeral
The starting cost of streaming a basic funeral service starts from $1045, which includes one videographer, one camera, and multiple microphones so that everybody can hear the service clearly. This is a simple set-up designed to stream one camera without any graphics.
The next option up starts from $2150. This includes one videographer, two cameras, multiple microphones and one live stream operator - he controls the start and the end of the live stream, the music, and camera angles. This is our recommended starting option for funeral streaming.
For a more complex set-up and where budget permits, we can tailor the price and options to meet your expectations such as adding multiple camera operators, slides etc.
