Is Your Business Videographer Letting You Down!
Silvis - corporate videographer and cinematographer filming a car review on Gold Coast.
Did your videographer promised your the world but delivered below ovarge? Was he/she smooth at the talking/selling but the talk did not follow up with professional product? Everyone can pick up a camera, watch some YouTube tutorial videos and call themselves a videographer. But will this result in a professional outcome? Very unlikely! Videographer is a skilled and experienced professional who has the invested in profesional equipment and gained experience.
Not so long ago I was looking for a second videographer for one of my shoots. At at a glance it looked like all them could do the job. Unfortunately when examined the offers I found that almost no one had the basic equipment to complete the job successfully. For someone who might not not be familiar with video equipment it would be hard to distinguish the good from the average. Many times price would indicate the skill and equipment level but I found that this is not always the case.
How to Find the Best Videographer?
I have been working as a corporate videographer, cinematographer, cameraman and video creator for over 10 years. During these years I have filmed projects for fashion, building, catering, real-estate, education, medical, event and other industries. I have gained a lot of experience over the years and invested considerable sum of money into gear. Videography is my passion! Here are a few filming services that I can provide:
Award ceremonies
Corporate video production
Promotional videos
Hair and makeup videos
My Filming and Production Experience
I have worked as freelance camera operator for my own clients, video production companies as well as for advertising agency clients. I have excellent technical skills, creativity and a good eye for composition and detail.
I like to get to know the people that I work with and to understand what needs to be achieved through the project. I can be independent and therefore some of my clients - production houses and media agencies have entrusted me fully with their filming projects. I understand, that many times projects require working together with others, and I love working in a team when necessary.
My Filming Gear
I own and have excellent 'know-how' of all my filming gear. I have multiple cameras, tripods colour accurate lights, lenses, microphones, boom stand, stabilizers, green and white screen etc. My gear is fully suitable for filming promo videos, interviews, documentaries, seminars, exhibitions and similar style shoots. For commercial work and other projects where intensive colour grading and highest quality is required, Canon Raw Lights (.CRM) video files can be provided. If you would like to know the current list of gear that I use and if it will suit you project, get in touch!
I Can Save You Money
If you live on the other side of the world or even in Melbourne or Sydney and need to film a high-quality project in the East Coast of Australia (Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, etc.) it will be cost-effective to hire a local videographer like myself based in East Coast than travel here yourself with all the filming equipment. Saying that, if I lived anywhere else in the world and the project budget permitted me to travel to Australia, it is well worth the experience, especially if you can combine work with a holiday. However, more often than not there are budget restrictions.
I understand that it can be hard sometimes to trust a freelance videographer like myself to film a project to your standards and style, especially if you have not worked with them beforehand To help build trust see below what two of my clients have to say about the work that I have done for them and what they think of me.
